The maintenance process of screw extruders is generally divided into routine maintenance and regular maintenance.
Daily maintenance: regular routine work does not take up the working hours of the equipment, usually during the driving period. The emphasis is to clean the machine, lubricate the moving parts, fasten the easily loosened threaded parts, check and adjust the motor in time, control the instrument, the working parts and pipes, etc.
Periodic maintenance: generally in the extruder running 2500-5000 hours after the shutdown, the machine needs to disassemble inspection, measurement, identification of wear and tear of the main parts, replacement of parts that have reached the specified wear limit, repair damaged parts.
The two maintenance processes complement each other and are indispensable. Here are some details to be noted in daily maintenance.
Daily maintenance
As the electrical control system has high requirements for environmental temperature and dust prevention, the electrical system should be isolated from the production site, and installed ventilation or ventilation fan, it is recommended to put the electric control cabinet in a simple room, to keep the room clean and ventilated, so that the indoor temperature is not higher than 40 degrees Celsius.
The extruder does not allow empty cars to run, so that the screw and machine can not be rolled easily. The main engine is not allowed to start idling more than 100 R / min; start the main engine at a low speed, start the main engine after checking whether there is any abnormal noise and then slowly increase the main engine speed to the permitted range of technology (can be adjusted to the best state). When the new machine is running in, the current load should be 60-70%, and the current at normal use should not exceed 90%. Note: If an abnormal sound occurs during the operation of the extruder, it should be stopped immediately for inspection or repair.
Turn on the oil pump first, turn off the oil pump after shutting down; the water pump in the whole production process to maintain the working state, can not stop the operation of the pump, in order to avoid the barrel temperature rise lead to decomposition and carbonization of materials in the barrel; main motor fan asbestos wind shield need to be often cleaned, to avoid excessive dust adhesion and blockage of the wind shield caused by insufficient heat dissipation of the motor due to overheating. Tripping operation.
Clean up dirt, tools and sundries on the surface of the unit in time.
Strictly prevent metal or other debris from falling into the hopper, so as not to damage the screw and barrel. In order to prevent the iron impurities from entering the barrel, the magnetic absorbing parts or magnetic frame can be installed at the feeding port of the barrel to prevent the impurities from falling into the barrel.
Pay attention to clean production environment, do not mix garbage impurities into the material clogging filter board, affecting product output, quality and increase head resistance.
The reducer shall use the lubricating oil specified in the machine instructions and add the oil according to the prescribed height of the oil surface, the oil is too little, the lubrication is insufficient, and the service life of the parts is reduced; too much oil, too much heat, too much energy consumption, and the oil is easy to deteriorate, thus making the lubrication invalid and causing damage to the parts. The sealing parts (rings) should be replaced promptly to ensure the amount of lubricating oil.
Regular maintenance
Regularly check the screws on the surface of the unit and fasten the fasteners. The lubrication level of the transmission box should be added or replaced in time (the dirt at the bottom of the tank should be cleaned regularly). For new machines, oil is usually replaced in 3 months and then replaced every six months to a year. For oil filters and suction pipes, they should be cleaned regularly (once a month).
The reducer of the extruder is maintained in the same way as the general standard reducer. The main purpose is to check the wear and failure of gears and bearings.
When reinstalling, please note that the two screws A and B must be in the original position, can not be replaced! After installing the new combination of screws on the machine, you must first use the handcart, such as normal rotation can start at low speed. When the screw cylinder is not used for a long time, rust prevention and antifouling measures should be taken. If the thread block is fired, the flame should move to the right side and the side should be burned. You can’t burn too much (the redness ring is red), and you can’t put the thread into the water.
